21 components is a 21-piece set of uniform wooden and concrete elements. 14 concrete casts and 7 wooden structures form a configurable sculpture that finds new forms each time it’s installed in a new space and context. The installation seen in the exhibition space is one of the many possible ones, settled upon until the end of the exhibition. The shapes and placements of the elements indicate the potential for different variations and present traces of the acts of building and/or play.
The work was exhibited in Kuvan Kevät MFA Degree Show of Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts.
